The International Children's Computer Center of the Program Systems Institute of the Russian Academy of Science became UNESCO Associated School in 1988. It has been working in the Assiciated Schools Project since 1995 and the main branch of its work is the usage of new technologies in education.
   The Center's main aim is the upbringing and teaching of the coming generation in special surroundings, which stimulate self-uppraisal improvement, self-esteem, respect to equals and adults, to teachers - like-minded people, development of the scientific and moral potential through educational projects and activities, studies, participation in children's conferences and seminars. We give our children the opportunity to choose the class they want to visit, to follow laws of the Center we declare beforehand.
   The main thing is that since 1995 the educational conception of our Center allows us to work with children who come to study and with those who want just to have a good rest in the Center. We try to creat the atmocphere of peace, when any child unacquainted with computer starts to work on it and findes new knowledge he or she didn't get at school.

The main branches of our educational work:

• New Computer technologies (10-12 classes):
  • The Computer ABC's (the study of main computer compononets and facilities attaching to it, getting skills of working with a keyboard and a mouse, with popular and easy operating systems, graphic and text editors);
  • Your Web-Pages. Web-Design for beginners(creating web-pages using HTML language, CSS and DHTML technologies, web-design conception and main rules of quickview and navigation);
  • Programming languages (Visual Basic, JavaScript, C, C++, Perl, PHP, Delphi);
  • 3D Builder (creating realistic scenes, elements of animation);
  • Publishing House (fundamentals of page-proof and design, producing newspapers, advertisements, brochures);
  • Internet (the history of developement and basic principles of work of the computer nets, study of popular network applications, using an e-mail, Internet based communication, information search);
  • Computer Algebra (Maths and Computer);
  • Draw in LOGO (LOGO programming);
  • Computer Design (study and work with the most popular graphics editors);
  • Flash (Flash technics for developing web-pages);
  • Digital Sound Editing (study of music editors, creating pieces of music of different styles);
  • Computer Games;
  • Apple-technologies (cartoon making, telecommunication conferences organization using G4 platform)

• Natural Sciences:
  • Ecology;
  • Zoology (a zoo-station where different species of animals, birds, and fish live)

    Each session in our Center is finished with a Big Summary Children's Conference where children make reports about their results, the knowledge they got during class work, present their projects.

    Children take an active part in the "Spare Time" Block not only in educational activities. They visit:

    Each session our children can go in for sports and keep their fit visiting our Sports Club where there are:
