Excel2LaTeX ============= V1.2 It's hard to make tables in LaTex, especially if some columns are calculated. This Excel-To-LaTeX converter exports the current selection as a LaTeX file, which can be included via the \input command in an existing LaTeX document. Nearly all formattings are supported (bold, italic, border lines, multicolumn cells, ...). Now works correct with Excel 97. INSTALLATION ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just unzip the archive and open the file Excel2Latex.xls in Excel. Then you will have an additional menu item in your 'Extra' menu and a new Toolbar with one button on it. ANNOTATIONS ~~~~~~~~~~~ * Mutlicolumn cells which contain more than two cells are actually not supported. Also font sizes are not supported, because they are handled completely different in TeX * To keep the macro reasonably fast, only the characters $ and % are converted to the LaTeX makros \$ and \%. * You can put additional LaTeX formatting commands in the Excel cells, so you don't have to edit the output, if you want some special chars or formats. * The default file name for export is the name of the active excel worksheet * This Version is only tested with the german version of Excel. Let me know, if you encounter any problems. COPYRIGHT ~~~~~~~~~ Excel2Latex is Mailware, that means you can freely use it and distribute the complete archive.
