This directory contains materials for the TeX typesetting system.

Most of these files provide means which add support of Cyrillic
languages (e.g., Russian), --- fonts, LaTeX packages, etc.

Descriptions of files:

1) the T2 package, --- support for the new standard Cyrillic font
encodings and various Cyrillic input encodings (and more). The T2
package is mirrored to CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/supported/t2.
Base cyrillic support for LaTeX is now in the LaTeX `cyrillic'
bundle at CTAN:macros/latex/required/cyrillic.

2) the ruhyphen package --- a collection of Russian hyphenation
patterns for TeX. The ruhyphen package is available also at
CTAN:language/hyphenation/ruhyphen. Ukrainian users could find
hyphenation patterns at CTAN:language/hyphenation/ukrhyph.

3a) the `literat' package --- Literaturnaya family of Type 1 fonts
made by ParaGraph with License allowing free usage in TeX-related apps.

literat.zip			Type 1 fonts (see the License inside)
literat-*.tar.gz		virtual fonts and LaTeX support for
				using the fonts.

3b) the `c1fonts' package --- virtual fonts which combine CM fonts and
cmcyr fonts (Cyrillic Computer Modern fonts) into T2A-encoded fonts.

c1fonts-*.tar.gz		c1fonts package snapshots
paradissa-corr.tar.gz		corrected version of type1 paradissa fonts
				(old version of cmcyr fonts).

3c) the PsCyr package which contains some free Cyrillic Type1 fonts and
TeX support files for typesetting using them. It is mirrored here from
ftp://mch5.chem.msu.su/pub/russian/psfonts/

4) the ruemtex package --- all stuff needed to rusify emTeX. It
