[ Same in Russian: KOI8 | CP1251(MS-Windows) | CP866(DOS) | ISO8859-5 | Mac ]

Access to the server

If you don't have an account at www.botik.ru contact webmaster@botik.ru.

Create the subdirectory www (lower-case letters) in your home directory. Everything you put in this directory can be accessed on the World Wide Web.

For example, your login name is "user" and you have page "page.html" into "www" subdirectory. The URL for this page is http://www.botik.ru/~user/page.html.

Of course, you can create subdirectories in the directory www. When a URL has only the directory path without file name, the default page welcome.html or index.html is used.
